We are seeking a candidate who can work within our fundraising team to drive our corporate relationships and grant applications processes. We are looking for someone who has experience in fundraising for charity including planning and completion of grant applications alongside building and maintaining corporate relationships. The post holder is responsible for leading this work, manages our Grants Fundraiser and works alongside counterparts in Events and Communications Fundraising. It is important that the individual is able to work well on their own or as part of a small team and is capable of producing work of high accuracy.

This role will work as part of the fundraising team and the wider business services team to develop and manage the Rock Trust’s corporate partnerships and co-ordinate the fundraising sought through Grants and Trusts.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Identify potential partners, create and monitor a corporate supporter pipeline
  • Be responsible for proactively managing and maintaining existing corporate partnerships
  • Develop new partnerships with potential corporate supporters.
  • Increase fundraising income, meeting or exceeding agreed targets
  • Increase supporter numbers, meeting and exceeding agreed targets
  • Meet and exceed fundraising targets for Grants and Trusts income
  • Working as a fundraiser for a registered charity
  • Proven experience on working with corporate supporters and donor development in a charity environment
  • Presentation skills and experience of speaking in public to a wide range of audiences
  • Managing contractors and consultants in a business setting
  • Using a CRM database in a fundraising context
  • Co-ordinating and running corporate events of varying sizes and types
  • Engaging with politicians and senior public sector officials
